If you’re a Skype user, you may have noticed a limited feature since February called Video Messaging. This beta feature allowed you to record a 3-minute video clip and send it to one of your Skype contacts, even if they were offline. Today, this feature is out of beta and is now unlimited to everyone using Windows desktop, Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android, BlackBerry. You’ll notice one OS that is missing, and that is Microsoft’s own Windows Phone.

Since Microsoft owns Skype, the exclusion of Windows Phone is a little odd. The other version that wasn’t listed is the Windows 8 app, only the Windows desktop version is included. Since Microsoft owns Skype, hopefully those versions will be updated soon.
