With traditional Windows apps, there’s usually a print option in the menu or on a toolbar somewhere. That’s not the case in the Metro (Modern-UI) apps. Instead, you have to use the Charms bar (the right-hand menu) and select Devices.
Once you open up what you want to print, open the Charms bar by swiping from the right edge of the screen, or moving your mouse in the upper or lower right corner of the screen.
From there, select Devices. Within that menu, you should get a list of your printers. Click on the printer you want and it’ll give you some of your normal print options.
While this process takes a little longer than a quick toolbar shortcut, it keeps things consistent across different apps.
Printing from desktop apps is the same as before, where you can use the app’s menu or toolbar shortcut.
