It has a small tab on the side of your screen that gives you access to recent apps and the tab stays present all the time, no matter what app you’re in. Sometimes this can get annoying and you might want to hide it or disable it. Luckily, you can do either, but it might not be obvious to find.

How To Hide The Multi Window Sidebar

If you just want to hide the multi window sidebar, all you have to do is hold down the back arrow for a few seconds and the tab will go away. To turn it back on, hold down the back arrow again for a few seconds.

If you want to disable the mutli window sidebar, swipe down on your notifications panel and look at the quick settings across the top. One of them should be Multi Window, and you can tap on it to toggle the sidebar off.
