Review: Orico H8000 Power Bank 1

Over the past few weeks I’ve had the opportunity to test and review the Orico H8000 Power Bank. This power bank offers an 8000mAh battery with fast 2A output charging. The battery can charge an iPhone 7 or 8 about 3 times before needing to be recharged. Weighing only 6 ounces and only 11mm thick, the Orico H8000 Power Bank is easy to carry around anywhere. It can fit into a pocket in a backpack or a purse easily.

On the top of the power bank, you’ll have 4 LEDs near the power button which will show you the charge level of the battery. Unlike other power banks on the market, this one only offers a microUSB input for charging the unit and only 1 full-size USB output for charging your device. You cannot charge multiple devices with this power bank and you’ll also need to use your own cable since there aren’t any built-in cables.

The Orico H8000 Power Bank charged an iPhone at a rate of about 1% every 1-2 minutes, which is about average. The phone had minimal usage while being charged besides having Wifi and Bluetooth on and receiving a few push notifications.

I’m very pleased with this power bank and I would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a lightweight and thin battery who doesn’t mind carrying their charging cable with them.

You can purchase the Orico H8000 Power Bank on Amazon, currently on sale for $16.99 with Prime.
