Microsoft's XBox 720 Could Be Released Thanksgiving 2013 1

Microsoft’s next iteration of the famous XBox console, rumored as the XBox 720, is now rumored to be out for the 2013 holiday season, in time for Black Friday. This year we saw the release of Nintendo’s Wii-U and we knew the next version of the XBox has been in the works for a while now. There’s not much information about the console, at least not officially. Reports are that it will support Blu-Ray discs though, which is a nice feature the PS3 has enjoyed since its launch.

Microsoft saw 750,000 Xbox’s sold this Black Friday, and Sony saw 525,000 PS3’s sold, while Nintendo saw around 400,000 units of the Wii-U sold this year.

This will be one console I’ll be upgrading to! I’ve been enjoying my XBox 360 and am a Live Gold subscriber, XBox Music subscriber, and have Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. I’m anxious to see what the new features will be and if it’ll be announced officially at E3.
