It’s that time of month where Microsoft has their Patch Tuesday, on June 11th. This is where they release the majority of their Windows Updates to patch bugs and security fixes.
This month, there are 5 security fixes set to be released and pushed through Windows Update. Four of the updates are flagged as Important, but one is Critical, and that’s for Internet Explorer (versions 6 through 10). It is a cumulative patch for those versions which patches a remote code execution vulnerability.
Another patch only affects Office 2003 and Office 2011 for Mac, but it is also for remote code execution.
Be sure to check your Windows Updates on Tuesday and install the patches to keep your systems safe!
As a reminder, make sure your systems are set to automatically update so it is less you have to worry about.
