Get Unlimited Cloud Storage with Microsoft’s OneDrive and Office 365

onedrive-01_smallIf you’re an Office 365 subscriber and a user of Microsoft’s OneDrive cloud storage service, then you’re probably already getting 1TB of cloud storage space as a part of your subscription. That deal is about to get sweeter! In the coming months, Microsoft will be upgrading your account to receive unlimited cloud storage!

You don’t have to do anything on your end, but if you want to speed up the process, you can sign up at Microsoft’s website and they’ll email you when your upgrade is ready.

If you have a Personal Office 365 subscription, it is $70/year and restricted to one user account and one PC and one tablet. The next step is a Home account which will run you $100/year but opens it up to 5 user accounts and 5 PCs and tablets. Each user would get their own unlimited storage. Commercial accounts with Office for Business subscriptions will be upgraded sometime in early 2015.

I personally still use OneDrive even though I use an iPhone. The service has been great for me and I haven’t had any issues.
