Here’s a nice little walkthrough on different ways to free up some of your storage space taken up by Windows 8 on your tablet.

Why not just use an SD card?
I don’t know why peeps are making such a big deal.
My PC at home came with a 500gb hard drive, however I did not have 500gb worth of storage. Same applies to my iPod or iPhone or Android device.
That’s just how it is. OS and apps take up space.

I agree, and I’ve done that already too.

500GB is a big difference compared to 64GB though.

I still have about 26GB free on my tablet, plus I have a 64GB MicroSD card for my files. I have everything synced with SkyDrive (50GB plan) and I have all of that on the MicroSD card.

So the only thing on the hard drive is apps and the OS…all of my docs, music, pictures, videos are on the MicroSD.
